For those that are having or had first birthday at a resturaunt or hall
What did you get for centerpieces? ds party is next saturday and I dont know what to use.

Mine will be in the backyard, and we are having a backyardigans theme so I got cute gift box type things - and I am going to sit the backyardigan dolls in the box (on top of some tissue paper) and then maybe a couple of balloons attached to each.
Is there a theme you are going with? Maybe that will help us brainstorm a little!

Yes, the theme is winnie the pooh. I was thinking of doing balloons, but I used balloons for my shower and his christening so I want to do something different.

There is a brand of honey (can't remember the name) but the plastic bottle it comes in is shaped like a bear. They are small, but it might be cute.

We did flower centerpieces from Topaz Florist in Oceanside- we have a large white basket filled with different shades of pink from small to large flowers- they were beautiful I had to have the DJ do the game pass the napkin b/c guests were putting dibs on them
edited to say only our table had 3 first birthday balloons attached to the basket cp

My DD's party is Winnie The Pooh also and I bought plush dolls (eeyore, Winnie the pooh, piglet and tigger..2 each) and I am putting that in the center of the table with the matching mylar balloon and then I am giving those 8 plush dolls to the younger kids at the party as one of their favors.
