for those that had a boy first
then a girl...
how much of your DS clothing did you really use again?
I ask because I just went through his stuff and it seems like alot of things can be reused..nothing wrong with light blue onesies??

Re: for those that had a boy first
good question! We are not sure of the sex of this baby and I was trying to figure out the same thing. I don't think anything is wrong with using blue onsies and sleep sacks/gowns.
This weekend I'm going through the storage bins to take some stuff out.

Re: for those that had a boy first
DH and I JUST had this conversation this morning. (We don't know yet, but) we will be reusing a lot of the clothes, at least int he first year. If it's a girl and someone thinks it's a boy, it's only going to affect me, the baby will be clueless. I'm not a pink fan anyway.

Re: for those that had a boy first
I think I just read something in the new Parents magazine about this. A mom wrote in that she reused a lot of her son's clothes with her daughter. She went to a store like Joann's or Michael's and got iron on designs like butterflies and hearts and then just put them on the clothes. So she had a blue onesie that she added a blue butterfly to the front and whalla! It was a great idea!

Re: for those that had a boy first
I think it's def easier to go from boy to girl stuff, a little harder the other way around.
If the next one is a boy, 75% of gianna's stuff, i won't be able to use since it's frilly, lacey, girly. Alot of her newborn things were yellow/green things, but after that we got really girly.
I do, however, have no issue putting pink pj's on him, not into public, but to sleep in, pj's are pj's.

Re: for those that had a boy first
The truth is I cared more than I thought I would. Many of their pants could be reused, socks, etc. PJs I never cared about but did buy girl pjs so I could see her in pink. I would pair light blue with yellow. It was mainly because she was a baldy & I wanted people to know she was a girl. Something about hearing "What a boy!" over & over irked me.
