Wow, that was a long title. Anyways, I was wondering if you had to do it out of necessity at a young age, how did you kids take to being able to get in andout the bed by themselves? Did they stay in bed when you put them to bed? Would they get up right away in the dark and stumble around? Would they climb back into bed on their own or lay down on the floor? How long did the transition take? Thanks!

my niece went in one at 19 months. Its only like 4 inches off the ground so she gets in and out no problem...
But she wont sleep in it. She mostly leaves and goes to her parents bed or she falls asleep on the floor.

it is torture.
we did it at 12 months.
I had to take everything out of his room.(you don't want him walking around in dark bumping into anything.)
blinds up
monitor unplugged
2 gates at doorway.
he's in our room now...too many things plugged in to leave him in his own room. (humidifier, air purifier, need monitor now)
