For those that had white baby furniture...
If you had a boy, when did you feel it was too babishy for your little boy. I want to order white sooo badly, I LOVE IT. I know its not a great color for an older boy though and we do when the convertible crib. However, we plan on having a few children, so Im thinking the white furniture, could be used for next baby.
I guess Im just asking how the white furniture worked out with your baby BOY. THANKS!

Re: For those that had white baby furniture...
We bought white furniture for DS and invested in quality stuff - Stanley, Pali as we plan on using it for baby #2 some day.
DS now 2 - just got a white twin bed to match his dressers. I really wanted wood now that he is a bit older - seems more boyish but since I already have the white dressers we went with the white twin bed.
We may reassess later but rather than buying a whole new set we just bought a nice bed.
We had no plans of converting the crib into a bed b/c it only converts into a full-size headboard which we don't have room for. Looking back I wish I had thought more about this and not invested so much in a "convertible" crib...

Re: For those that had white baby furniture...
We bought white furniture but knowing that we were having more than 1 child (we didn't find out the gender). Once I got preggo with #2, I bought my son teen furniture and he went into his room and my DD went into his old room (the nursery). We will do the same if/when the next child comes along.

Re: For those that had white baby furniture...
I got white and don't feel it's too babyish at all.
I think it depends on the bed. Mine is "cottage" style like. I have see lots of beddings (Pottery barn, etc..) that are very "boyish" that will be perfect with white furniture. And it's not babyish at all.

DS has white furniture with green bedding. It is not babyish at all. It looks clean amd crisp. Everyone tells me it is a very calming room to enter.
I love white furniture and am so happy with it!

Re: For those that had white baby furniture...
I got white for our nursery, couldn't imagine anything else because I love that look. Now that I have two boys I sometimes regret it...the dresser now looks too feminine to me for a little boy (it's fine while he's a baby/toddler but I'm not sure as he gets older). I'm just praying that we have a girl for our third so I don't have to figure out what to do with this dresser!
