For those that read Three Cups of Tea...

Isn't the violence in Pakistan right now breaking your heart. I really think that Greg Mortenson understands that unbiased education is the key to helping keep the masses from being educated by extremists!

Just so sad....I hope that the violence following Bhutto's assassination doesn't last much longer!

I agree 100% and I am amazed at how he continues to go there and help these people at all kind of risks to himself.

When you talk about people to admire, he has to be one of the first and yet he is so uncomfortable with the little fame he has.....

Yes when I read about Bhutto's assassination I just bawled. I so hope this is not a lost cause. We were going to make a donation on behalf of the book club but never got around to it. Maybe next meeting.

In the meantime, the more people who read this book the better!! I made my mom suffer through all the mountain climbing stuff! Chat Icon Chat Icon
