For those that travel in their car alot..
DH and I travel a lot and I plan on breast feeding. What do i do with the milk while we are travelign that I have pumped? Do i need a thermal bag or something? I need to know what I should register for his this regard.

If you want to take your pumped milk along on a trip you could get a thermal bag and ice packs to keep it cold, depending on how long you are going to be out. Some Breast pumps already come with them.
I was taught by my LC the 666 rule
6 hours at room temp 6 days in Fridge 6 months frozen
So technically you can pump go where you want to go, then feed baby within 6 hours if you keep it at room temp. If you keep it cold even longer..

we bought a small car refrig (holds about 12 cans of coke, or four bottles...) but you can use ice packs too....we like our refrig b/c it has a connector to plug it into the wall too (like for when we stay at a hotel!)
