For those that were offended/disturbed by the little girls dancing, a ?
Just curious - were you more disturbed by the costumes or the choreography? Pick just one!

As a mommy to a little girl, I was equally disturbed by the routine and the costume.
Completely inappropriate and disgusting.

I voted choreography. The outfits alone were not terrible away from the dancing. But the choreography was atrocious and disgusting. Sure, the girls were talented dancers, but they looked like mini strippers. I'm horrified for those parents. How could they watch their children on stage like that?

definitely the choreography and I mentioned that in my post...the gyrating, they don't even know what a means...I man the outfits were a bit much, but I think it didn't bother me as much as the dance itself...

My DH only has a problem with the outfit.
I guess if they were a little more covered up, it wouldn't bother me AS much, but I do think the choreography is just a bit inappropriate for the age group.
And as another poster said in the other thread, it would be totally different if they were like, 15 or 16...

Choreography!!! The outfits really didn't bother me as much but they shouldn't be doing those kinds of moves until much older! When I saw them thrusting and pumping and then bent over and show booty I was sick to my stomach!

I can't decide. Thigh highs? really?
I get that a lot of it was a style of dance, but I think the moves were way over the top.
If they were wearing something different, it could have been a cute routine - minus some of the moves.
Go to 1:46-1:47, the second girl to the left. That's not a move that a girl her age should be doing IMO.

Same here !
I couldn't really choose one per say. I'm still   with some of the moves for children in that age range. Totally inappropriate in my opinion!

I couldn't really choose one per say. I'm still with some of the moves for children in that age range. Totally inappropriate in my opinion!
agreed. If that had been my DDs dance class, I would have been up on that stage yanking her off

I said the outfits because I disagree with a lot of the other opionions that they were good dancers - I thought they were terrible and looked like little kids TRYING to copy a music video.
Kids have been copying adults since the dawn of time ... we should be more disturbed at what is considered ACCEPTABLE "entertainment" all around ... JMO. (I'll caveat it with that I'm an old fogey)
