For those who are/did not find out the sex
We're not finding out the sex. Recently, I've had this (irrational) fear that someone is going to spoil the surprise for us. There are 6 doctors in my practice and I'll probably see a different one each time. Do you have to remind the doctor that you don't know the sex? Has anyone found out the sex by accident? I'm sure I'm being ridiculous, but I really want this to be a surprise.

Re: For those who are/did not find out the sex
Each time we go to the doctor, the nurses, techs and doctors will ask: Do we know what we are having? (Yeah, when they push this kid out they can say 'we')
Anyway, each time I tell them, no it will be a surprise, and they know not to say anything if they do see anything.

Make sure when you go for sonograms, just tell the technicians that you don't want to know the sex, so if they happen to go in that area, please tell you to look away.

Re: For those who are/did not find out the sex
My Dr. told me that since I didn't want to find out there was no need for them to know either. They said they'll find out the same day as us. Every Dr. office is different so I guess I would just let them know at each visit.

Re: For those who are/did not find out the sex
At my doctor's office, no one writes down the gender info in the chart. At the time of your sono, the tech is required to confirm that the baby has a gender, but NOT required/allowed (at least in my dr's office) to make a note of it in the file.
IHTH!

same here. It is not recorded on our chart so not even the doctors know.

Same with my practice. The gender isn't written on the sono reports so none of the Dr's know.
