For those who belong to NEFCU
I just wanted to let you know that Nassau Educators FCU union is just introducing a few new mortgage programs that appeal to many.
They will have a program for those with not-so-good credit.
And they will also have a program that will allow for 100% financing and lower closing costs. Maximum income limit is $116,000 a year.
I work there and just had a meeting about this in the morning. I figured this may be helpful to many, and made me feel like I might actually be able to afford to buy something soon.

thanks for the info - I belong to NEFCU - when I was looking they had a similar program, but it was an ARM and had prepayment penalties for refinancing.
