For those who don't change behavior during 2WW

Would you wait an extra day or two to test if you had a big event to go to?

I guess it's a good way to not test too early!

I always test if I am planning on drinking a ton. If you plan on having a few drinks then I wouldn't worry about it, but if you are going to be doing shots at the bar, I would test first Chat Icon

Yeah-- I mean, I am not planning on doing anything crazy. Just want to be able to have a glass of wine, or two.

when i got my BFP i actually went out that night (a friday, 12/28) and the next night as well. i think i had a glass or two of wine each night - i knew it was okay since i wasn't sharing blood or anything with the baby yet.

however, i don't know if it was psychological or what, but i couldn't have more than a glass or two without feeling very dizzy. that's actually why i told my parents before new year's eve - because we were all going to be out and i knew that i wasn't going to be able to drink.

if i had the choice i would definitely hold out and test AFTER the event.

I will probably have seltzer with lime most of the night-- I also will be with a bunch of my friends, and I don't want to deal with questions-- why aren't you drinking?
