For those who eat the bagged salads... rave!
I usually buy the Dole Tender Garden or Stop and Shop brand Butter Lettuce variety. The other day both types didnt look so great so I tried the Stop and Shop Escarole Blend. I was iffy because raw escarole didnt sound too good but it is SO yummy! The leaves are thicker, so you do feel more like a rabbit when you are eating it. LOL
I started eating these when I started WW because I would eat the whole bag, be full and practically 0 points.
What are your faves?

I'll have to try that! I love cooked escarole but I've never had raw escarole.
My fave is Dole Leafy Romaine!

Sounds interesting... I will have to try!
I usually like to buy the salad in the plastic clamshells (a lot of times organic). They are pricier, but just taste fresher and more flavorful to me.
I also like to buy the Dole romaine hearts (they come 3 in a bag). It's more work, because they have to be washed, but they are easy to chop up and are really crunchy!

I love that kind of bitterness that radiccho has and the extra crunch of the thicker lettuce. All I do is add a small handful of any shredded cheese, dried onion, powdered garlic and some dried Italian seasoning, oil and vinegar. (then I brush my teeth and chew 2 pieces of gum )
