For those who had miscarried:

1) How long did your dr tell you to wait to start TTC ?

2) How long did it take for you to get pregnant ?

My doctor recommended we wait 3 cycles and we tried on the 2nd cycle but I didn't ovulate that month, so it happened on the 3rd cycle, which turned out to be the 4th month. Good luck!

I had a molar pregnancy so I had to wait at least 6 months. Then it took about another 3 months.

I was told to wait two cycles before TTC again (I had a DNC at 13 weeks..)


2) How long did it take for you to get pregnant ?

It took two cycles to become pregnant again after that point

I had a D&C and the doctor told me two full cycles. I got pregnant after only one and the baby is fine at 21 weeks.

I miscarried at 6 weeks. Two weeks later I went in for a follow-up with my doc who told me to wait 2-3 months. Ironically enough, when he told me that, unbeknownst to him or myself, I was already pregnant again. I conceived just about a week after the miscarriage. I went back to him frightened to death because he had told me to wait 2-3 months, but he laughed it off and told me it's really just to make sure you're mentally ready, and more of an old superstition than anything else. And, as you can see from my avatar, I have a beautiful, healthy 11 month old as a result

My doctor told me to try right away. He doesn't believe in waiting....Got pg 4 mos later......

My Dr told me to try as soon as I was ready. There is NO medical reason you can not especially if you had a natural MC. If you had a D & C there is worry that your lining may not be thick enough

1)My doctor never recommended how long to wait. In fact, he recommended birth control. Apparently, he thought my second pregnancy was an accident.

2) We officially started trying again two months later and I got pregnant right away with twins, though I miscarried one.

I had a miscarried so I did not need
medical intervention.

It usually takes anywhere from 4-8 wks.

I got AF about 7 weeks after my miscarraige..

1st time about 4 weeks(bled for 4 weeks then had 2 day break then got AF) This was a MC asissted by methotrexate. 2nd-bled for 10 days still waiting for AF-just O'd
