For those who have a cleaning person/service...
What do you do when they're at your home?
Do you go out (run errands, etc.)?
How do you stay out of their way?

Re: For those who have a cleaning person/service...
My girl has keys to the apartment and typically comes when we are not home. She cleans everything. She changes sheets, organizes closets, dusts, mops, scrubs everything etc.
If we are home when she comes we keep ourselves busy in one of the rooms she is not working in.

I spend most of th etime in my office. WHen they are ready to clean the office, I usually go in the yard with the dog. Often I am not even home tho.

Most of the time I am not there when they clean. The two cleaning people that clean my house have been working for my boss for going on 3 years so I trust them in my house.

I stay downstairs in the playroom with the kids (which she doesn't clean). When she comes downstairs to do the bathroom, we stay out of her way or go in the backyard.

Re: For those who have a cleaning person/service...
When weather permits, I take my DS outside in the yard to play to stay out of the way. Otherwise, I have a colonial so I usually go on opposite floors then they are cleaning to stay out of the way. DS is afraid of the vacuum so I have to stay away for his sake.
With my old person I have left her alone and gone to the park or errands but she was with me for a bit so I felt comfy leaving her and she was there for 5 hours so sometimes I had to. I had new girls (2) now and they have only been with me a couple months so I try to stay close by now - they are only there for about 2/2.5 hours so not too bad to stay around.
