For those who have battery operated swings-rechargeable batteries?
DD is obsessed with her Little Lamb swing. So obsessed that we are going to need to buy stock in Duracell I did not listen to advice to get a plug in and I am kicking myself.
So, I thought maybe rechargeable batteries would be a good idea.Anyone use them? Any recommendations?
I wish there was an AC adaptor converter kit for this thing. A neighbor gave us the Rainforest swing with an AC adaptor, but she likes the Little Lamb better.
TIA!

Yes I bought them from radio shack...not sure the brand...and the charger was around $30...the batteries are expensive...but I definitely think in the long run it saves money.

My dd is also obsessed with her lamb swing, we are tired of buying the batteries too, I think I will go to Best Buy and invest the money..Iam sure it will be worth it in the end!

I LOVE mine! They are Sanyo Eneloop. It was a pack with the recharger, 8 AA batteries, and then cases for Cs and Ds (just the AA are rechargeable, then you slip the AA into the C or Ds to make bigger sizes).
I bought two of these packs at Costco:

We used rechargeables for all of DD's battery operated things, including the swing.. we have the Energizers. Definitely was worth the investment.
