For those who have bought new appliances recently --
What brand did you buy and are you happy with them?
We are re-doing our kitchen and I have been shopping around, but haven't decided yet on what brand to get. I am between Maytag, LG and GE Profile. Any thoughts or suggestions?

We just redid our whole kitchen and we went with GE appliances. They were just installed last week and out kitchen is not completely done so I havent been able to use them yet. However, my sister in law has similar GE appliances and she has no complaints!

right now I have a whirlpool fridge (hate it) and a whirlpool dishwasher (LOVE it!)
we are looking at new appliances - I think I am leaning towards GE PRofile

we just bought a Kenmore Elite dishwasher (which rocks btw)...we have a kenmore frig and a whirlpool micro and stove (they came with the house)

When we redid our kitchen I used most of Consumer Reports recommendations...
Whirpool Duet HT washer and dryer
Kenmore fridge
GE Profile Convection Range
GE Profile Convection microwave
All bought at Sears. They were offering a special right after Christmas of 05 and they did the same this year. Buy 3 appliances get a 20% discount. They also price match, even from internet ads.

We redid our kitchen last year and have Whirlpool Gold appliances. I'm very happy with them.
I also have an Avanti under counter wine cooler - love it.
And LG washer and dryer - love them!!

GE Profile Stainless French Door Refrigerator - I seriously love this fridge!
Thermador Convection Wall Oven and Gas Stovetop - Love them both!
GE Washer and Dryer - I love them!
Jenn Air Stainless Steel Dishwasher - This is one thing I wish I could do over again. We paid over $700 for this dishwasher and it sucks!
