This may be way to personal and/or embarrassing so please FM me if you rather do so....
Did anyone/does anyone suffer from hemorrhoids? This may be a problem I am experiencing . ( and I might add that I am not pregnant! but I know this could occur during pregnancy so I figured I would ask here)
I would like to get it taken care of before TTC. It has been a problem for a long time and I am not sure how to handle it. Has anyone had surgery for this? Does anyone have a doctor they could recommend?

I'm sorry, I don't have them or have any advice, but I had a thought in reading this. If you're gonna have surgery for them and if you've already had them a long time, maybe you should wait till after you have a baby? If you're already predisposed to getting them and your chances greatly increase during pregnancy, you very well might get them again and have to go through the sugery all over again? I don't know, I don't have them (at least not yet) so I don't know what you're dealing with, but it was just a thought. Good Luck!

I actually had hemorrhoid surgery when I was pregnant with my second child, in the sixth month. I had a thromboste hemorrhoid that was so bad, even the thought of surgery was better than the pain. (The doctor also told me that there was not chance of it shrinking or disappearing without surgery.) However, the surgery was the MOST painful experience of my life (and I have had two children)! Only get it if you absolutely need it! A general surgeon performed the surgery and I spent two nights in the hospital, but that was because I was pregnant. If I hadn't been pregnant, I could have gone home the same day.

I never had them... but you may want to try taking a stool softener since they are caused by constipation.
