I agree with this very much.
My DD was 3 and had a seat. Well the whole row next to us had kids around 2, with no seats. The lady next to us had a child on her lap that was so large...the child wound up spilling over into my seat b/c she had him on my side of her seat.
It really wasn't fair to the rest of us who had a seat to have a child from the person next to us hanging over the arm rest. My neck and back started killing me from sitting contorted, in my own seat, b/c this child was practically sitting on the arm rest and partially in my seat area. Plus there is no room for a 2 year old to move around if they don't have their own seat.
That's what I said to DH...any child NOT an infant, over 1, should have had to buy a ticket. So that sounds good to me.
Sorry for the rant but it has been bugging me why they didn't make kids over 1 get a ticket last time around.

Where on the website do you see this? I can't seem to find it on the website or on ticketmaster.
on ticketmaster i searched for Fresh Beat Band tickets and i just picked one of the shows, none of the NY ones are coming up, and when you do the info towards the top says anyone over 1 must have a ticket.
The first time they went on sale it said anyone 2 and under are free

Honestly we took DS who is 3 to the one in Westbury and it was great. No annoying parents (in fact I ended up next to and in front of 2 LIF mommies). Everyone was fine...and we had a great time!

your not blind   its not saying unde the NY one the one i checked was not for NY so maybe it was only that theater
