For those who ordered canvas prints from Winkflash

I uploaded a photo (from a CD) that I wanted to enlarge to a canvas. When I tried to order a size larger than 12 x 18, a warning label appeared stating low quality. I'm not sure why the quality would be poor since the resolution is 2816 x 2112. I uploaded the photo to other websites just to see what would happen if I tried to order large prints. I didn't get any low quality warnings on those websites.

Did anyone else have this problem? What size did you order and what was the resolution of your photos? How did the quality of the canvas come out? TIA.

i've ordered from winkflash and i dont think their quality is as good as mpix. ever since i got prints from them i wont order anywhere else.

I ordered one from my wedding in a 24x36. My resolution was only 800x692. Winkflash gave me the same message but we opted to go ahead with it anyway. When I received it, I was shocked on how nice it looked. Of course, the closer you are, the more grainy it looks but definately can not tell from afar!

i think theyr just giiving u a heads up that b/c its going to be so enlarged on a canvas it might be grainy and not so clear...my canvas still looked really nice tho and it wasnt perfecy quality from the picture

I got a 16x20 canvas print from there. The picture is from my wedding and the original file size - 8 MB I think. you need very high pixels to enlarge something more than 8x10 without losing quality.

Can someone post pictures of their canvas. I am curious. I need to do some decorating and maybe I will order one.
