For those who read the Black Dagger Brotherhood - who would your "mate" be?
Silly and fun question...
There is something special about each of the characters and they all have such different personalities.
Who would be your most likely "mate"?
I pick Rhage because ummmm he sounds GORGEOUS and I love thinking of that animal magnetism... literally. And he is hysterical!

Re: For those who read the Black Dagger Brotherhood - who whould your "mate" be?
We have to choose?!?!?!?!
I love Vishous I love the way he speaks (although it has been a while since I read them, so I could be wrong, but he's the one who ends most sentences with true?, right?)
I'm also a really big fan of Z
Apparently I like the really tormented guys

I love Zsadist.
I also have a thing for Tohr, I feel so bad for him.
Right now Lassiter annoys me but I think he's going to be more likeable when she gets around to writing his story.
I can not wait for the next book, only about a month away!

Re: For those who read the Black Dagger Brotherhood - who whould your "mate" be?
Zsadist, Vishous and Rhage here too!!
I love how she writes like, "Zsadist turned and walked down the hall, a pink burp cloth with a skull and cross bones sticking out of the back pocket of his leathers."
...And Qhuinn--I dont' care which way he swings, true? LOL. Yeah, not technically a Brother...yet.
I'm wondering how many more books there will be? Does Lassister get his own? Does Tohr--will he love again? Does she include Murhder more? Would love to see him come to fight John for Xhex. Of course he wouldn't win, but would like to see that strife within the Brotherhood.
ETA: How is the Fallen Angel series?

She said originally it was going to be 10 but now it's open ended. She posted somewhere on her chatboards that in addition to the one coming out this month she's planning to do a book on Quinn, one on Blaylock, on one Lassiter and one on Tohr since he will find love again with someone we have already met.
Fallen Angels is ok, but I prefer BDB.

I had picked up the BDB insider's guide to read Father Mine. I hadn't planned on reading the rest figuring it was a bunch of fluff I wasn't really interested in...and wouldn't you know it, the night we posted this, I'm looking through the book and see she's put experts from the chat boards in there...and wouldn't you know it, she had all the stuff you said, and a lot on Lassiter. The part in Phury and Cormia's mating ceremony when Lassiter looks up at the mural and sees Wellsie and baby looking down on Tohr--wasn't that a heartbreaker.
Anyways, I was curious if there was any cross-over in the series and Lassiter was from the Fallen Angel series?
ETA: Without any other chat borad knowledge, I'm going to guess Layla. ETA Nope, changing my vote to No-One for Tohr.

I havent started Fallen Angels yet but my MIL got me into BDB and said that already in the Angels series they mention a man in a Red Sox hat sitting in the back of the church.

They also mention running into a huge man going to an alcoholics anonymous meeting....she uses a few references to BDB in the Fallen Angel series....LOVE IT!!

Re: For those who read the Black Dagger Brotherhood - who would your "mate" be?
So I read Covet....disappointed. I think one of theonly things keeping me going is the connection to the brotherhood books. I was confused at the end and mad that things weren't more fully explained. I also wish the angels had had points of view--they seemed like the most interestign characters in the whole things and they were sidelined.

It would be a toss up between V and Rhage. I loved loved this series. However, I just started reading the Immortals After Dark Series and it blows this series out of the water.

Kresely Cole.......Love love Immortals after dark. I read all of the books (believe 10) in about a month. The characters have great personalities and the love scenes are hot.
