For those who temp and chart...

When and if you compare your charts from month to month, do you find that they are similar to each other or very different? I am only charting because I was asked to - not because I want to. However, I am learning a lot. I don't know if it is common or rare to have temp patterns that are consistent from month to month. My first two charts are pretty different. Just curious. Thanks.

Mine are different most of the time, the only thing that really stays somewhat the same is my ovulation day.

Thanks. I had a feeling this may be the case. Truth is, I just cannot wait for this to all be over. My sleep patterns have seriously been affected by having to wake up at the same time every day and on the weekends.

My charts looked different. I will say that I am NOT someone that wakes at the exact same time every single day to temp. I have very erratic sleep patterns with lots of waking during the night. My alarm is set for 7:30 AM to get ready for work. If I wake at 4 AM or later to use the bathroom, I take my temp then, because you need at least 3 consecutive hours of sleep before taking the temp. If I wake at 3 AM I take it then as well, and then repeat IF I get 3 straight hours of sleep and don't wake up again.

Re: For those who temp and chart...

It's not that consistent, but I see enough of a pattern from having temped so long that I can identify my normal (like for some 98.2 might be a really high temp, but when I was waking at 7:30AM this was a very regular post-O temp). So, if I was looking for a "high" temp post O, I would want it to be at 98.4 or so.
