For those with 1/2 acre+ that use landscapers?
How much does it cost you for seasonal maintenance and also weekly mowing, etc? We are looking at houses now and want a big backyard but I have no clue how much to factor in for this stuff...tia!

we have 1/2 acre and pay $40 a week for mowing, edging, etc. My DH usually does the other stuff himself like fertilizing, seeding, planting. We just got a quote for thatching and power seeding and some other lawn treatments and it was

we pay $450 for 1/2 acre for fall clean up and maintenance.

We have an acre:
-$50 for weekly maintenance
-Fall & Spring cleanups are somewhere between 400-600. (I can't recall the exact amount.)
We use another company for fertilization and weed control. We have an annual contract and I think it might be somewhere around 1K. 
We've put a lot of money into our yard, but you'd never know it!  DH does most of the work himself, but it's amazing how much a yard can cost you.

I think ours is like $30 a week for mowing, edging, clean ups are around $200. The time it saves us is worth every penny! .
