for those with a hard time finding a lab for SA...
i know it's been posted on here, a debate over quest doing them/not doing them - where to go if you have ghi etc. i just wanted to post this for anyone still having a hard time.
i was given a prescription today for dh to go for a SA and they recommended stonybrook andrology. i called and they DO accept our ghi (we are city employees) - but if they were not to take your insurance, its $315.
they accept samples M-F from 8:45-3pm and you or dh can either drop off the sample, or use their room to give a sample there. either way, you do need an appointment and if you drop off, it has to be within an hour of him um, "giving" the sample.
