Forest Hills Italian Restaurants
I'm looking for an Italian restaurant in Forest Hills that will cater trays of food and preferably deliver it. Any favorites???

I heard Portofino near Austin St is good...not sure if they deliver though.

primadonna is a good pizza place; i've ordered italian food from there and had it catered. Due Fratelli just opened up down the block and we love their pizza, so the food might be as good.
Portofino IS very good; i've never ordered food from there though.

Try Avellino's. They are in Rego Park but the food is great. I miss living in Rego Park because of Avellino's.

Dee's Pizza is in Forest Hills and their food is great. They do catering.

I love Portofinos. They make fantastic Eggplant Parm. AJs is the best pizza hands down. Gosh I miss both of those restaurants. We moved OOS.

I second the recommendation for Avellino's in Rego Park - just down Qns Blvd from Forest Hills.
Family Restaurant is the best in Forest HIlls in my opinion. They do catering trays.

Love Villa Isabella- Metrpolitan Ave we had my bridal shower, rehearsal lunch and DD's 1st birthday there. We eat there about once every 2 weeks and always love it
Dee's Pizza is also good and a frequent stop of ours

I haven't lived in Queens in several years, but was going to recommend The Family as well.
I used to go there all the time with some very picky people who raved about this place.
