Formal wedding attire?
I know I've never posted here before, but you all seem to have much better fashion sense than I do, so I need some advice. I'm going to a wedding in DE next weekend and the wedding website says dress is "formal". The ceremony is at 6:30 on Sat., but it's on the beach. The reception is in a catering hall just after the ceremony. I don't want to spend a fortune, but I don't want to be underdressed, either. Would a floor-length dress be appropriate, or too much for a beach ceremony? Can anyone suggest some ideas and where I can shop? Thanks!

Re: Formal wedding attire?
floor length is fine. i would probably stay away from satin and dark colors. find something with a print.
alot of these dresses should be on sale now. check out macy's, nordstrom, etc.
good luck.
