formula check/coupon question?

Has anyone ever had issues using the formula coupon checks that DID NOT have your name on them?

I went to BRU in westbury today and the cashier asked me who the person on the check was (my SIL) and then said normally they have to ask for ID and will not take them if it is not you! i thought that was absurd!

Has anyone else encountered this?

Yes, unfortunately. It's so stupid. BRU is notorious for not accepting them if it's not your name. Some places are much easier-- I never had a problem at BJ's, CVS, Walbaum's, etc. I've always heard BRU is strict so I never bought formula there.

i usually buy from BRU because the price is good and they offer the value can of good start formula...i've never seen it anywhere else.

I just think it is crazy because BRU still gets the money from the check. who cares whose name is on it! i'm really getting annoyed with them lately!

Target will take them, and will take multiple ones too.

I never had that problem either.
I usually go to Target for formula rather than BRU.
Its not like you have to sign the check, its a coupon!
