Has anyone submitted and letters/forms to their insurance company to get their formula covered? (my DD is on nutramigen and we have Aetna insurance and I had my dr. office submit a letter today to the company to try and get the formula covered) If you were approved, by which insurance company? Do you knwo anyone who has/had Aetna and got the formula covered? thanks!

Not sure about Aetna but I have Empire and it is covered - it actually gets delivered to our house each month

Re: Formula covered by insurance?
My daughter is on Neocate and it is mostly covered...we have to pay a $500 deductable plus 20%, but that's b/c our insurance stinks.
Contact Apria healthcare's enteral department. They can help you get it covered.

I know nothing about it, but that would be great if you could get it picked up by your insurance.

same here....the PED wrote in a letter on a prescription that my son had a milk protein allergy and it was covered. Call the insurance company and ask
