Found 3 ticks on Yogi this morning

I'm not sure if they were deer ticks or dog ticks but one of them was engorged and the other two had bit and latched onto him but weren't engorged yet. He had been in the woods out east on Sunday (He ran off the property after a squirrel) and I checked him when I got him back but I must've missed them. He has some spots so I am guessing they just looked like spots to me at first. But, now I'm worried. He threw up this morning. Now, sometimes he eats grass and throws up. But, this morning it was a yellow watery throw up (no grass). Should I just keep an eye out on him? Make sure he's not lethargic? Look for the red ring around the bites? I'm worried

If you're really worried bring him to the vet and they can do a blood test on him and see if he contracted lyme disease, the can then give him a shot for that.

I've been battling ticks too and I'm not out east or in the woods! They are all over this yr. n they are going to be bad!
I use a flea and tick comb every time they go out...for me just checking them was not working.they are hard to find. The comb actually catches them on it..that's how I found two.
You can get a blood test but have to wait a month ( I just took my pup for one- thankfully it was neg.)
Check for signs of lethargy, clean the bite spot, make sure their appetite is still there,
Male dog ticks don't get engorged.only females do

My vet says he treats all ticks like they carry disease
The lyme vaccine is only75% effective..he typically gives that to dogs that go to fire island where ticks are always bad
Check in between toes and wrinkles...ALL over...under arm pits, tail folds,etc..ears
I have become a tick expert over the last month.lol.
After a bite, they can get a red mark..just check to make sure it's not unusual looking, Kwim?
I'm currently looking for a safe spray for my yard and for my pups...so far I've found neem but I'm trying to get more info on it

Yellow throw up is prob bile
Call ur vet to see what they sat

We find one tick a day on my dog.

They are using him as a smorgesboard.
