found good workbook for special ed (pic of book included)
I found this workbook today and it seems pretty good for students who are in an upper grade (it says grades 5-8) but who are functioning at a lower level (book is geared towards kids at a 3rd or 4th grade level)
I found this publisher makes books on all different topics with this exact idea in mind..... high interest, low reading level. I thought I'd post in case some other might find it helpful! I am a special ed teacher but now with all the inclusion in the classrooms, it could really apply to just about anyone who teachers the upper grades with lower functioning kids in their classes.
Does this count as having my school brain on? I can't believe the day is almost here......... Image Attachment(s):
