just thought I'd share
The journey from infertility to family, someone once said, is like taking a train ride; Never knowing whether you'll reach your desired destination.
There are plenty of stops along the ride. And each of the passengers makes it's own decision when its time to get off.
Some never need to take the train. Others ride it for a lifetime. But whether you reach your destination or not, pay attention to the journey. If you will, as painful as it is, it may reward you in unexpected ways.

Donna, this is so well said. This journey is absolutely heartbreaking, but at the same time....I have met some of the most incredible people. I have made wonderful friendships. My feelings towards my dh have deepened, and I appreciate so many things, that I have overlooked in the past.
I am also very proud of myself. I can't control this disease but I am determined to work my hardest to conquer it.
The quote I have the at the top of my Fertility Friend homepage, is from Christopher Robin (Winnie The Pooh)
"Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think".
This journey definitely has me believing I am all those things. If you were to ask me , if I thought of myself as brave...a few years ago, I would have replied "no way!" Ask me now, and I would say "absolutely"
I pray we all reach our destination soon...with a healthy baby, wonderful friendships and self pride !!!
