Four months and six interviews later.....
Today DH got an offer for an Illinois Assistant Attorney General position. It's a little better sweet for him cuz it means he will have to close his practice, which he had been doing since he passed the bar 3 yrs ago. I know he enjoys being his own boss but deep down inside, I'm so relieved at the prospect of a steady paycheck from him. The highs and lows of being solo practitioner stressed me out.

Congrats!!!!! Now I know who to call if I get into trouble here in IL.  Will he still be working in Chicago? Any thoughts on moving out to the 'burbs?

Haha, yeah he'll be downtown in the Thompson Center. The plan is to let Nate do Kindergarten in the city and then move in 2011.

I used to walk by the Thompson center all the time. That's a great area. Keep me posted on the 'burbs move. You should definitely consider Naperville/surrounding area. We love it.
