Re: FP soothing motions glider....worth getting?
We got one second hand from SIL and used it all of maybe 2-3 weeks a handful of times. Noah liked the swing and bouncer better.
I would say no for $40.
You can probably get a second hand one even cheaper.
A few girls had them on here for cheaper i think way back when.

Re: FP soothing motions glider....worth getting?
The only time my DD goes in it is when she's sleeping and doesn't know she's in it. When she is awake she does not like it at all. But on the other hand my cousin says his DD LOVED the glider and even now at a year old will still sit in it to watch tv.

We keep ours in our bedroom, great for the weekends because DS can't help but fall asleep in it.
Very bulky so don't plan on traveling with it....

Re: FP soothing motions glider....worth getting?
I received it for my baby shower and I have to say I tried putting my son in it once or twice and he couldn't get out fast enough. He does not like it at all. He is 6 weeks now and he still doesn't like it.

Re: FP soothing motions glider....worth getting?
I used it constantly the first 2 months. DS used to sleep in it during the day when he was a newborn and he loved looking at the toy bar when he was awake. As he got bigger, he liked it less and I would say I stopped using it completely at about 4 months, because he got used to the bouncy seat and got frustrated because he can't bounce in it I never used the motion or the music though, I just really used it as a seat. When he was really small, I even felt comfortable leaving him in it for 5-10 minutes for me to take a quick shower because he was strapped in securely and I knew he wouldn't tip out - it is heavier and less likely to tip than a bouncy seat.
I didn't register for it, got it as a gift, but it ended up being the thing I used the most in the beginning - he was too small for the bouncer, hated the swing and the LR is too small to keep the pack & play open all the time.
