Francis Scott Key Motel in Ocean City, MD
We just got back from here last week and it was truly a wonderful vacation! I would say it is definitely more of a place to stay if you have kids. If you are a family with no kids, stay on the boardwalk but I wanted to share my review.

Sounds like a great place! We pass it on our way in each year, but we've always stayed on the Boardwalk. The shuttle drops off at the corner of Somerset and Baltimore, right? I think it drops off right at the condo we have been renting the past few years. They have a great pool, right?

Yes the shuttle stop is on Somerset and a block from the boardwalk. Right near Ripleys once you are on the boardwalk. The indoor pool is fantastic and the outdoor pool is kind of small but not "OMG its too crowded" at all. And then there is the pirate playground and trust me, I was running under the water things as much as DS was! The rooms are basic motel rooms, small and a bit outdated but SO clean. Next time you pass it, ask if you could look around. My dad goes to OC every year and I asked him to do that last year before we booked for the summer.

My aunt and uncle live in OC year round. Every year they stay at this motel in the winter or spring break with the grandkids just to use that indoor pool. Glad you had fun.
