Freddy situation update
My dad gave his notice at his job today. He asked his boss to lay him off so he could get unemployment. In AZ unemployment is different so he technically didn't have to lay him off or fire him, he would just not contest the claim.
well, his boss agreed to not contest the claim..my dad will get unemployment while he relocates. That is a tremendous weight off our shoulders financially.
They are coming here Sept 27. Their stuff will probably arrive the first week of Oct.
Still waiting to hear about NorthShore.

One of dad's colleagues asked him why he was leaving and dad told him. this guy said, well he'll end up in a nursing home anyway..

OMG!!! totally uncalled for
What the F is wrong with people?
Don't they know if someone is going through a situation like this common courtesy says you do/say one or both of the following:
1. I am so sorry
2. Can I do anything to help? (offer a suggestion and follow through)
If anything else comes to mind they need to shut their pie-hole

yep! I just heard from the prosthesis company and they are doing a readjustment on Fred's artifical leg. That will help him.
Still no word from Northshore...UGH!

Yes..in Holtsville..a very nice apt complex called Victorian Gardens. A nice 2 bed 2 bath. It's about 30 minutes away from me.
