Mars Giving Away 9 Million Samples
Hackettstown, NJ — Giving out nine million product samples of Mars Chocolate North America’s most popular brands is the goal of Random Acts of Chocolate, the company’s fall promotion.
Mars started the promotion this week by coordinating 50,000 samples delivered by bike messengers in Manhattan. Brands include M&M’s, Snickers, Twix, 3 Musketeers and Milky Way, the company says.
The remaining 8.95 million samples will be dispersed through buy two, get one free coupons distributed at participating retailers and through giveaways conducted by Clear Channel radio stations, according to Mars.
In addition, consumers can go to one of the five brands’ Facebook pages on September 8 to receive a coupon for a free product and send a coupon to one of their Facebook friends
