Re: Free dining at Disney World

Hello, and welcome to the forum!

The rumors that have been circulating around the web lately have indeed materialized into a Disney announcement this morning. In a move very similar to last year, Disney has extended the dates of the current "free dining" promotion for specific date ranges in 2011 and early 2012. Here are the particulars:

Book a Walt Disney World® Magic Your Way package, with accommodations and Theme Park tickets, and you will get a select Dining Bonus - Free*!

Value resort - Get Quick Service Dining Plan
Moderate, deluxe or villa - Get Disney Dining Plan

Valid for stays most nights:
(Blackout dates apply & subject to change & availability)
2011: 10/2–10/8, 10/30–11/5, 11/13–11/18, 11/27–12/3, 12/11–12/17
2012: 1/8–1/14, 1/22–2/4, 2/12–2/18, 3/4–3/10 and 3/25–3/31

Restrictions do apply so check with Disney or your travel agent for the fine print.

It's been a busy morning!

This is the worst offer I think I have ever seen at WDW. If I am reading this correctly, it is only valid for like 9 days in October, 15 days in November and about 10 days in December? This really stinks.

only ONE of your days of your stay has to be within those dates...hopefully that makes it a little better

It has to be the first day of your stay that falls within those date ranges. As long as that qualification is met, your stay can extend outside those dates and you still get the full benefit of the package.

The phones have been hectic today (both at Disney and here at the office)and the Disney website overcome at times due to the traffic, so if you're having any trouble getting through, keep at it!
