Free Fridays at NY Aquarium 3-6pm
The Wildlife Conservation Society's (WCS) New York Aquarium offers free admission 3 - 6 p.m. Fridays; last entry is 45 minutes before closing

This is totally worth it! It's a way nicer aquarium then riverhead, IMO.
I might have to do this one of these days!!

Aren't you "asked" to still give a donation?
You still pay for parking $12.
I think they do the same for the Bronx Zoo on Wednesdays.

Bronx Zoo is free all day on Wed.
I'm sure you still have to pay for parking, but it's still cheaper than paying full price for the ticket. Suggested donation doesn't mean you have to give anything though.
