Free Places to Run Indoors

Does anyone know where you can use a track or large area for running indoors. I don't have a gym membership, no room to put a treadmill, and have two boys to push in a stroller. I would like to be able to run indoors when it rains, any ideas of something in Suffolk. Preferably in the Town of Smithtown area!

(I know I can go to the Smithaven Mall before Stores open, but was looking for something during the day or closer to the evening)

Stony Brook University has an indoor track inside the sports complex. It is pretty small though and 7 time around makes a mile so it can be hard to keep track.

I don't know if you are interested but here is the link. You can get a membership or pay $5 bucks each time but I don't know how much the membership would run you....

Yes, I do remember their track! Thanks! I'm just confused though from their site, do I need a membership? I really don't want to have to spend money!

I don't know any details, except SUNY SB (I thought it was 8x a mile - but I haven't been there since early 90s) and SUNY Farmingdale has one too. but I think they are 9-10 x for a mile)
