FREE Skydiving

I am thinking about doing it. I find these studies very interesting, plus you get to skydive for free!

Re: FREE Skydiving

48 hours is a long time for a study though... but I am still considering it.
Either way I am going skydiving this summer whether I pay for it or not. I can't wait!

Re: FREE Skydiving

I've always wanted to do that. I did a simulation of it at Action Park years ago...we were given suits that would fill with air and put into a room with a floor made from an ehaust fan. It was wild!

I have 3 herniated discs now and just had an epidural shot to help the pain..otherwise, I'd join you!

I would never.

I am scared of heights and not having anything protect me like flooring!..

Re: FREE Skydiving

My brother used to love going skydiving. But he doesn't do it anymore since he almost hit power lines but instead landed in a tree had to cut the rope and hurt BOTH knees really really badly!! I always wanted to try it, but I know I would chicken out!!Chat Icon

Where did you do it?
Why wasn't it exciting?

I am excited for the freefall part. The parachute part, not so excited for that.

Re: FREE Skydiving

DH and I have been skydiving a couple of times. The first time was so overwhelming, that I figured I would try it again and really soak it all in. So I went the second time. The scary part is the plane ride up, then after that it is so quick. its about a minute of free fall, then parachute time. DH loves it though.
We did go hang gliding though, I think that was so much cooler.

if you do go, I would get the video of it. DH and I love ours. We also love that our kids will be able to watch us as crazy teens jumping out of planes.
