Free time in the hospital?
I had intended on bringing my journal to the hospital to write my birth story, etc., but my DH said that I think I'm going to have more free time than I probably will. I am having a c-section, so I'll be there for 4 days. Did you have any downtime while in the hospital? Oh, and I will be breastfeeding my twins, so I'm sure I'll be busy with that a lot of the time.

you will have some free time, but you may want to spend that resting up. I did have some time when I was in the hospital

I had some free time in the hospital. I used it for napping or reading.

Re: Free time in the hospital?
I had free time when they were keeping her in the nursery for the doctor vists each morning, etc. I brought a laptop though and that kept me busy because I couldn't sleep AT ALL in the hospital.

I agree. I would bring the journal with you, but dont really plan on getting done what you want to. I had a c-section but only 1 baby and I was busy alot of the time, between baby care and visitors. When I wasnt busy, I was either resting, eating or showering. I brought 2 magazines with me and never even opened them.
Good Luck!

I slept and hung out with ds when I was in the hospital. When he was sleeping I just vegetated. I didn't feel good enough to do anything.
