Freedom of the Seas

Anyone been on? Thoughts? Reviews?
We are looking to book a cruise out of PR in early Nov. It's the week my kids have a couple of days off. We're in NJ,
Any good advise?

We are looking at the 6th floor balcany on the back. After reading some other reviews I read the rooms in front and higher they can feel the ship more.
We were originally thinking the 9th floor.

Thanks!

I've been on other ships, never Freedom. I just wanted to say I LOVE RC and you will have a great time!

There are some Facebook groups you can join that may be helpful.

Re: Freedom of the Seas

I’ve been on Freedom of the Seas before, but it was awhile ago, back in 2010. We had a balcony I believe on the 10th floor. We had no problem with the motion of the ship. I love the ports on the cruises leaving from Puerto Rico. I’ve also been on Liberty of the Seas which is the same basic ship. Big ship, plenty to do. Only time I felt like it was crowded was on the sea day, but we were able to get loungers, just not right next to the pool. Haven’t travelled on it with kids though, so I don’t know anything about the kids programs.

Re: Freedom of the Seas

I been on this ship before and it is a big boat. A lot of things to do and the food is great. RC is very good on service and family oriented. I always stay in the middle floor. Top you will feel movement and there may be storms or hurricanes during November. Leaving out of PR is awesome, because you are right next to all the islands.

However, Disney I heard is top of the line first class. So the services and boat will be better but Freedom of the Seas is still a class A ship.

Yes. Disney cruise was awesome and we got a great deal that week we went. Never think we'll get that again.
Looking forward to RC. The stops seem great and a lot to do. Just sad there's no water slides bc my boys LOVE water slides.

Ahh yess they don’t but to be honest on sea days the line can be long some times and you really only get it on once or twice. That boat does have the Flow Rider which is cool and the ice skating show is cool. The promenade is cool and makes you feel like you’re in Vegas or time square. You forget your on a boat. It’s a pretty big boat.
