I went last year. Was your typical festival. Rides for kids, food booths, shopping booths, etc. Nice to spend a day walking around. Last year they had a dog contest called Dock Dogs. I don't think they had it this year but I do believe if you have a pet, you can also walk with your pet there. Last year they had some weird traveling show pig races. Very weird but drew a huge crowd.
I would say if you have nothing else to do, go check it out.

We went last night and had a blast. All the bars have bands playing, there is a carnival and a lot of vendors. We saw the pig race thingy but didn't watch.
