Freezing breast milk....
... does anyone know how long it will stay "good" in the freezer?

I believe its 3 mnths, depending how cold your freezer is or where its stored in freezer (door or in back)...

I think 3 months in a refrigerator freezer, or 6 months in a deep freezer.

My SIL just ran it under hot water in the kitchen sink or put it in a mug filled with hot water.

That's what I did. I believe it's actually recommended to put the frozen milk in lukewarm water in a mug/bowl whatever.... Not "hot" per say.

put it inthe regrierator the night before your going to use it or put it in hot water to thaw. you have 24 hours to use it onced thawed.
