Friend wants a Malti-poo
I'm trying to educate her on puppy mills and those fancy "breeds" but I don't think she knows enough to care. She wants a malti-poo - does anyone know of any rescue sites I can find one from? Preferably a puppy?

Try petfinder.com
And try a Yahoo search, there are rescue organizations for malti-poos, and if you contact one, they can put yu in touch with others in your area.
Also have her check the North Shore Animal League web site!

ITA. Petfinder.com is your best bet. She can look for maltese mixes.
Kudos for trying to educate her about PMs & "designer dogs."
