Oh those ears
What a sweet boy.
But I'm not surprised. He didn't seem vicious to me at all. When he was in the yard he barked. He didn't growl or try to attack. He just seemed scared.
Seems he always had a sweet heart. Someone just needed to give him a chance.

OMG. I am so sad inside after seeing that. Happy, but sad as well. Being alone and scared and hungry and abused is enough to make ANYONE, ANYTHING, snap. So awful but I am glad someone, all these people had enough patience and were so caring and kind to help save this poor adorable dog.

I cried the entire time! His little face when the petting started to feel good--it was like a revelation to the poor guy.
So sweet and so sad. I hate that anyone has to suffer like that.

Me, too. I just thought "this is potentially the only contact from another living thing that he's had since he was a puppy." And then his eyes started to close and he started to relax and my heart melted.

I can't stop thinking about this HopeForPaws and Eldad's rescue efforts. I have to watch the videos and am speechless each time to see him be so brave and rescue these lonely and hurting and neglected animals. I can't shake his and his efforts out of my mind. I am going to send a donation for sure...that's the least I can do.

Oh my goodness! This made me particularly emotional because he reminded me of Maple! They have the same floppy ears!
Maple is a min pin but he was very similar to Ralph! Scared, nipping, growling at people. He wasn't afraid of my hand but no one but me or cai and the woman who found him could really pet him. Forget about men!!!
He had a similar transformation and now is the most cuddliest, sweetest, most loving little puppy ever!!!
