Frogs in Yard?
Anyone ever find frogs in their yard? I found this tiny little thing wiggling in the grass I thought it was some weird slug or snail but it was a frog, I wonder how it got there...

I used to hear them all the time when I lived with my parents and found one inside the house once! Its a good thing my parents weren't home at the time, my mom would have freaked out.
They had an above ground pool that wasn't used anymore, the frogs were laying eggs in the pool cover - I used to see tadpoles in there.

DH has seen a few frogs in our backyard recently. This is our first summer in our new home, so I don't know if this is normal. Neither of us have ever seen them in our parents homes. I was wondering where they are coming from! I like frogs though, so I thought it was cute! I just don't want to step on any!!

Do you guys live near water, a stream or something? We don't see many of them here but I always see cute "frog houses" online where they can go for shade and safety.

We see frogs in our yard all the time, especially at night. When I mow the lawn I have to be careful around the edges of the yard. I often see little frogs hopping away from the mower and when we're outside at night we see them hopping on the sidewalk sometimes. We don't mind them, we think they're cute. DH's family lives near us, and they always find them in their in-ground pool filter.

They are normal outdoor creatures. I stepped on one last summer in the dusk in a flip flop and it freaked me out.
My parents also live in the Hudson Valley and get them all the time in their pool.
I'm not a fan of frogs personally, although I know they cause no harm.
