From a Fiesta in my Belly to all quiet...
Hm. I'm 30 weeks and I know this is probably normal but sometimes my little is having some sort of party in my belly (with pinatas and all) and I feel her kicking all. day. long. This went on for I want to say at least two days, and now, all is quiet, and it's making me a bit paranoid.
I mean, I do feel her every now and then, it's just not as strong a movement or as frequent in succession. I tried doing the whole kick count test but to be honest it made me even more paranoid ("okay, I felt her this morning, but not now", "does this little push count?" "If I felt her in the morning and in the afternoon should I still feel her at night?""Was that her or was that just my GAS?!")
I think I'm driving myself a little nutty over nothing but can anyone re-assure me. Anyone experiencing the same thing?

She proably tired her self out from all of the partying. As long as you are still feeling her i wouldn't worry too much. They do have their active and quiet times.

Re: From a Fiesta in my Belly to all quiet...
What you are describing sounds pretty normal to me. My has sleepy days and more active days. My OB said not to worry as long as I feel some movement each day.

Thank you for your reassurance! I've been feeling her quite a bit today too, so I feel much better about it.

Re: From a Fiesta in my Belly to all quiet...
I know whenever I ate/drink something really cold it would "wake up" my 1st DC and get him moving if I was having a day of low activity, but as others said they have busy/active days and not so busy days. Also the past few days your DC could have been turning to get in position and that is why was so active, and know the activity will not be so crazy.

Re: From a Fiesta in my Belly to all quiet...
I am 33 weeks and going thru the same thing. Baby was really quiet last night and this morning so I called the doctor and went there this afternoon. They put me on the monitor and of course I began to feel him. The monitor showed he was just fine. The dr. said I should definitely come in if I am ever considered - that she would rather me see her, than worry. Hope that helps!

Re: From a Fiesta in my Belly to all quiet...
My little one use to be so active during the day and night and now its alittle during the day and alittle at night. As you get closer to your due date I was told sometimes the movement/or kicking calms down. She doesn't kick that much anymore for me. Don't worry
