Front Entry Doors
Where did everyone purchase their front doors? And how much? If you can post which door you got, I'd love to see...DH and I need to do that next... lol after trying to change the locks last night, he was ready to pull the door down and throw it away  ....he has no patience when it comes to this kinda stuff.

here is a picture of out new front door...right after it was done...done mind the unfinshed wood, we have decroative molding to put up there!! 
here is an inside pic
We got the door and the screen door at Home Depot and if you need someone to install it, let me know...I have a GREAT guy!!!

i know, but like u see some doors that look like that, that are in the thousands...whats the difference?

Some of them maybe real wood and others are fiberglass doors that look like wood. the one i posted is a fiberglass one in a medium oak stain. What is nice about these doors is that they do not need to be painted or stained so very little maintainance!!

We purchased a steel (painted white) front door from Unifed. It's a four panel with a half circle window on top. We also got a new screen door. The price of both with installation was about $900.
I would not recommend them though. They installed the top lock wrong. We only used it at night and didn't realize until we were on our honeymoon that it wouldn't open from the outside with the key. FIL had to call a locksmith to get into out house to feed that cat while we were away.
Unified put the lock in wrong (bolt wouldn't disengage when opened with the key) and then wouldn't pay the bill for the locksmith. DH is still fighting with them.

We bought ours from Home Depot back in 2001. I think we paid about $1400 for the doors and installation (that's because it also included the 2 sidelights.)
