Frozen embryos- How many cells do blasts lose on thaw ?
Just curious....
I have 5 & 6 day blasts frozen...
I have read that the embryos generally lose cells upon thaw....
Does this always happen ? And is there a certain amount of cells that usually are lost
I knew I had a question to ask them

Just transferred 2 blastocysts Friday. One had 80% of the original cells and one had 75%. My RE said that they will transfer anything that has more than 55% of the original cells. HTH
