Re: Fruit Flies???

I tried a simple remedy that worked. Take a bowl, any size will do and fill it half way with with wine (red is better). Cover bowl with plastic wrap and put a rubber band to hold wrap in place. Poke a bunch of holes in plastic and leave the bowl out overnight. This will allow them to get into the wine, get sticky, and they cant get out of the plastic. HTH

Re: Fruit Flies???

Are they coming from your sink drain? If they are, that is the hardest to get rid off, my DH had them before we were married.

We poured vinegar down the drain and then taped carboard over it for 2 days so they couldn't get out and eventually they died down there.

Just look around your kitchen and make sure you dont have a piece of dying food somewhere that is feeding them. Like in the back of the cabinet where you keep your garbage.

Re: Fruit Flies???

If they're in the drain, I'm sure Clorox would work a lot quicker & it'll help unclog your drain too Chat Icon
