fruit salad- how far ahead?
hi!
i'm having a girls night on saturday night. its a sleepover, and i was gonna make a fruit salad to go with breakfast Sunday morning.
I'm getting the fruit today, and was gnona make it tomorrow night- is that too far ahead?? i really didn't want to have to make it saturday because i have other stuff to do to get ready...
i'm putting watermelon, cantelope, blueberries, strawberries and some grapes....

you can cut up the different fruits, store them seperatly in the refrigerator but i wouldnt mix them together until Sun morning.

I'd wait as long as possible to cut them up, and if you do cut them up ahead of time, then do what the pp said, keep them seperate.

I agree....Wait on the berries as long as possible and don't combine the fruit until Sunday morning
